I don't think I've ever seen this pose used, but I can't understand why, cause it's so sexy and powerful! Really lovely job on his arm, side and back muscles, so nummy! The little hint of blue light bouncing off his back and hair is a great subtle touch too! And that stare...even though it's kinda evil, he can stare at me like that aaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllll day
I promised myself that this year I will do more dynamic poses instead of just standing straight ahead and doing the same old things I've been doing. I wanna be out of my comfort-zone. Also, put more depth into my shading as well and not be afraid of it. I think the only thing that really trips me up so much is, the light source still. Sometimes I understand where it hits, but other times, I don't know where to start xD it's like my brain clicks off.
But yeah, I am really happy the way it turned out :> better than the previous CG work I've done D:
Well it's only the very beginning of the new year and already you're succeeding! This pose is so dynamic, as is the lighting, it's great that you're not being afraid of contrast and shadows, cause it's paying off! But you're right, light sources are very difficult, but I couldn't tell you had any problems with it! Glad you're so pleased with it, cause you should be! Your previous works were lovely too, but this is just incredible
